The Economics Program at Salsal University has been established to educate analytical, research-oriented, and socially responsible graduates capable of addressing complex economic challenges. Students acquire comprehensive knowledge in microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic systems, fiscal and monetary policies, development economics, and international economics. Courses are structured into general education, foundational, core, and advanced modules, progressively developing critical thinking, economic analysis, and evidence-based reasoning skills.
The program covers major areas such as development economics, public economics, monetary and financial economics, labor economics, international trade and finance, and private sector economics. This multidisciplinary approach enables students to understand economic structures, analyze socio-economic challenges, and gain a holistic perspective on local and global economic issues.
In addition to theoretical instruction, the curriculum emphasizes research methodology, data analysis, policy evaluation, and academic writing.
