Master’s Program in Criminal Law and Criminology

The Master’s Program in Criminal Law and Criminology at Salsal University has been established to prepare highly qualified, research-oriented, and socially responsible professionals capable of analyzing, interpreting, and addressing complex issues within the field of criminal justice. The program emphasizes both theoretical and practical understanding of criminal law, criminological theories, and the justice system, aiming to produce graduates who can contribute effectively to law enforcement, policy-making, and legal research.
The program is a two-year course of study, comprising 48 academic credit hours. The curriculum includes a combination of core courses, elective modules, and a research thesis, ensuring a comprehensive and in-depth learning experience. It aligns with international standards in legal education while addressing the specific legal and social context of Afghanistan.
